Comfort Through Knowledge
We offer parents much needed comfort by empowering them with knowledge of how to effectively work through disputes and all the complex processes and paper work of divorce, while continually focusing on what matters most—your children.
Confidentiality
All communications during mediation with a few exceptions are kept completely confidential. Mediators will oppose all requests to appear in court on either parent’s behalf, thus providing a healthy and productive environment for open communication and trust throughout mediation.
Less Stressful
When two parents agree to work together with a skilled mediator, even in the midst of challenging feelings and circumstances, their resulting agreements are much less stressful and much more likely to work for the long term—for them and their children, as opposed to orders imposed on them by the court.
Much Less Expensive
Mediation is significantly less expensive than litigation. Average costs of mediation are between $900 and $1500 for the entire divorce process. Many litigated divorces cost well over $10,000 and there are numerous instances of parents getting so entrenched in court that they lose their homes, cars and possessions needlessly. The savings go to you and your children, not lawyers and costly expert witnesses.
